Where to begin…
(942 views)You are all making this mama very motivated. Thank you SSSOOOO much!
I’m new to the TA Method. So new that I’ve not purchased any videos yet b/c I don’t know which one to begin with. Where do I start? The earlier posts were all about the orginal TA mat and dance cardio dvd’s but now that the PD Series is out, is that series where I should begin? I can tell you that I’ve been working out on a pilates reformer at a studio- 2 days a week for 2 years… I do very little cardio… fast walking at best, and I have 2 small children, so I can do an hour- tops….
I’d be so delighted to get some direction from you all as to where I should start. I wish I could just buy all of the videos, but I don’t have the cash for that. I also think I might not be as productive if I flooded myself with all of the videos at once.
I’m soooo looking forward to hearing some suggestions. Thanks in advance:)

Hi,
I have started with the original mat video and I love it.
Tracy does not give too many directions here and it takes a while to copy her moves mainly by watching. I also own the Perfect Design Videos since a few days. Here she explains a lot, the moves are easier to follow. The set contains 3 DVDs, beginner, and advanced. I find them all very challenging. I find these newer DVDs don’t work the arms as much. So I always add a short arm session .
There are a lot of videos on utube. I have also downloaded 2 free videos from her site. All these videos are just as good as a DVD. You have to change your workout every few weeks anyways.
And we are supposed to continue our training with her webisodes.
Your training should have 3 parts: butt and thighs, arms and abs.
If you wanna know more, let me know. I have to put my children to bed (I have 2 aswell). Just one more thing:
I never did anything like this workout. My body changed almost instantly and this is what keeps me going. I am so fit now and I look fit. It rocks!!
