Review of District 9, the movie
Monday, August 17th, 2009 at 12:35 pm. (178 views)Don’t waste your money. This depressing mess is mis-categorized as science fiction. It’s not. It’s a military drama. The “aliens” could have been anybody. My husband, my brother and I went to see it yesterday, and none of us liked it. We went to see it based on the “great” reviews it kept getting, and the TV ads. Big mistake. I wouldn’t even pay a rental fee at Blockbuster for this. Also — mega-profanity not very far into the movie and continuing to the end. Reminded me of my ex-husband.

awe you poor thing, cursing is so harsh in movies these days.. oh wait it ain’t the 50’s anymore.. i thought it was alright, just slow and the fact they do it like they did clover field and Blair witch kinda burns my biscuits, but other than that i thought it was cool, left an opening for a part two.. which i hope they make better than this one, but you know some people appriciate the crappy movie’s like B rated,
