I struggle with when/if to share Goldsmith with others
Monday, June 8th, 2009 at 11:34 pm. (181 views) Joel admonishes us to not share our Goldsmith materials until we
are bearing the fruit, and others ask (in so many words), “what is
your secret?”
For the most part, I have followed this.
I am very grateful to the man I dated who shared it with me
more than 20 years ago (when I was barely ready to listen)….
He worked as a social worker in a tough city and was called up
late at night to minister to “marginal people”…..
He told me that he had memorized Psalm 91 and he would say it
to himself as he walked the streets. He was never accosted.
I don’t even remember his name. He gave me the book:
Man Was Not Born to Cry.
I didn’t understand it. He took me to a group meeting of about
4 people a couple of times. I didn’t really understand that much either.
(I had been attending Unity and Religious Science for years before).
But he planted an important seed that finally began to bear fruit
about 8 years later.
I am grateful.

“Let us hold that which we have as a pearl of great price and show it to the world by a living of it rather than by a talking about it. When someone comes, who is attracted not just by the loaves and fishes, but who perceives the nature of this truth, and asks for bread, wine, water, and life eternal, let us share it to the fullest extent of our ability. No one is ever going to be called upon to do something greater than his understanding because the only call is to sit peacefully and quietly until the Spirit of the Lord God is upon him, and then he can voice anything that comes to his lips, or voice nothing at all.” Practicing the Presence pg 130
On my journey I find that if I let it be, people are naturally drawn to me and begin to engage me in conversation whereby I am able to share “the pearls”. I am blessed to be able to see people from the inside out, their outer appearances/masks do not enter my consciousness and I pray without ceasing, therefore, when engaged in conversation with people I allow God to flow through me with my responses. I know that if the little I gets out of the way all that is shared will be in Divine Order. This is basically my motto … All is in Divine Order. I say, feel free to share your “pearls” if you have clicked in and know that God is on the field. God only knows what seeds YOU might be planting! Namaste’ ~ I AM ~ One As Is
