Obama not a Socialist?!
(1,489 views)So if Obama is not a socialist, why is he having his government spend hundreds of billions of dollars to “buy out” companies, including banks, auto companies, etc. and dictating their company policies, strategies and restructuring processes? He even fired the CEO of General Motors! Sounds very similar to what Chavez has been doing in Venezuela for the past few years.
Can anyone please explain to me how this is not socialism???

Obama is just doing what needs to be done. If it wasn’t for the Republican mismanagement for the past 8 years, we wouldn’t be in this mess and it wouldn’t require such drastic measures to fix it. Obama has to exert some control over these companies in order to rescue the economy as a whole. It’s not a long-term thing. He’s just setting them straight and will then set them loose again. It’s for the greatest good and needs to be done.

what this is telling me is that even the fuking gov’t. does not respect the laws it set’s in place.. so to me this means it is time for the people to rise up against this fuking republic which is not a democracy by the way… and reclaim our country, just like the people did during the revolutionary war.. but of course the gov’t would say we were terrorist and have us all killed.. or shipped off to some undergound prison.. god this country has gone to the crapper…
