im 15 years old and EVERY adult in the fucking universe seems to lie to me. not just me but EVERY CHILD. is it right? im human too, okay? when i lie to anyone over the age of like 20 or so, i get myself in a shit load of trouble. what gives them the right to lie to me?
im ike a human lie detector i can tell off hand when your lieing to my face and i dont want this to be misconstrued but honestly, who the hell do they think they are? Im not that damn niave.
when i do deside to have a kid, i will NOT ever lie to them.
i will NOT let anyone else lie to them. EVER… so help me GOD dont let me catch anyone lying to my kid. i swear im going to lose it. if i am to respect a person, i am to get respect back. and respect has nothing to do with “im bigger than you, so do what i say” its the fact that you take into consideration what they feel and use the christian “golden rule” i dont like when people keep things from me, i mean yeah sometimes it may not be my business and if its not, simpy f***ing say it.
the reason im so mad is that one one my good family friends hes like 30 something went to get checked for prostate cancer and lyed straight to my f***ing face about the test results… to make things worse, he wouldnt et me see the papers and he got mad when i found out.
WHAT THE F*** AM I NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE TRUTH? CAN I NOT HANDLE IT? WHAT WILL PEOPLE TELL ME WHEN YOU GO INTO SURGERY OR YOU DROP DEAD OR ALL YOUR HAIR FALLS OUT AND I HAVE NO CLUE WHATS GOING ON? DO YOU REALLY THINK I HAVENT LIVED THROUGH MY SHARE OF CANCER EXPIRENCES?
all i can do right now is wait, apparenty. but someone has to keep shit from me. whatever.

You’re not to young to learn that a person’s medical problems are personal. If your friend’s test results came back ‘bad’, did you think that he might have needed a little time to handle the news? Testing positively for prostate cancer is a huge rush and his decision to discuss it people will be based on HIS perceived ‘need to know’ basis. Prying is not cool. If he wants to discuss the matter with you, he will.

First of all, I agree that lies are not ‘cool’….. at least lies like trying to convince a kid that fairy tales are real. (ie: Santa, Tooth Fairy, etc)…but, sometimes, a ‘certain type of lie’ is justified….like this one w/ your Uncle. Like the above noter pointed out. This is a medical condition and serious one at that.
This is a catch 20 call. Please try to not be too bad angry over this particular incident and pray for the wisdom and knowledge to know the difference in a true “lie vs a LIE.”
