How can I tell me that my boyfriend wants to be with me or just staying there for convienence?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year and a half now. We used to spend all of our time together - doing everything together and having fun doing it. Well for the last 2 months we barely spend any of our “free” time together at all. Every time we are off work and are at home, my boyfriend is so busy either “fixing stuff” or running around doing errands to help out his friends. I have expressed the need to spend some time alone with him on a couple different occassions but then I am just looked at as “a nag”. I love him and want to be with him but I feel like he just makes up excuses to be busy so he doesnt have to spend time with me. WHAT DO I DO??? PLEASE HELP!

There’s a lot of things that could cause a guy to back off like that.  It doesn’t necessarily mean that he doesn’t love you.  It might just mean that he needs some space for whatever reason.  Or maybe the two of you just got into a routine and drifted apart naturally.

Don’t tell him you need to spend more time with him.  That could push him away further because you’ll come across as needy.  Instead, ask him out on a date, or cook a special dinner for the two of you, or tell him you’d like to go on a vacation and would he come with you.

Anything to break up the routine and put some spark back into the relationship.
