Stop with “May God Bless You”
(243 views)Spiritual Intervention for Those Who Feel the Need to Say:
“May God Bless You.”

Please take a moment and apply critical thinking to your statement. Do you say this because you were trained like a monkey? Do you say this to fit in socially amongst other religious bent pedestrians? Do you say this because your religion actually told you that there is a God that you can tap into to do your bidding and so if you sacrifice in some way or promise a specific something you can get your way? It really comes down to one of those 3 things.
Either you’re a trained robot and have never thought what you are actually saying with ”May God bless you.” Or you are just saying it to fit in. Or you have been hypnotized by religious beliefs. It’s that simple. And that stupid.
To say “May God bless you” means that you actually believe that there is a God sitting around that is nice to some and not to others. Your little proclamation affirms this and hopes that that God could cast favor on your friend. “Hey, I know it’s Tuesday and you’re obviously in a bad way and hope that God notices you today and your circumstances improve.”
People: God is not interested in what the hell you are doing good or bad. God is equal opportunity Love. “May you wake up and realize you are loved by God.”

encouragingword says:
The term ” God bless you” was an endearing comment made when someone sneezes, because when you sneeze, your heart stops for that split second. There have been cases of people sneezing then dropping dead of a heart attack. The “blessing” term, was intended to ask God to have favor upon those who sneezed, in case they keel over and die. Maybe you would rather someone wish death on you when you sneeze? How about ” God damn you”? Would that make you feel better?
