It is obvious Palin is loving all the attention she is getting. Many people do adore her, yet even though she is a compelling figure, every time she opens her mouth, you can hear the right wing spin machine weaving her words for her. It's so transparent, but to me it seems that the people who react to her as if she is the new savior of the Republican party remind me of the townspeople in "The Emperor's New Clothes." Even clothed in a $150,000 wardrobe, she is still devoid of any real substance other than her ability to stir the flames of ignorance and hatred among the bigots in her crowds. The fairy tale will soon end, though, and she'll have to go back to looking at Russia from her back yard and hunting moose. Thanks, but no thanks, Governor Palin.
