AMEN on your remarks to that.  This contest should not be about race or racism since it seems to becoming that.  I am a white Texas Republican who has voted Republican since Ronald Reagan, but this go around, I am not voting for McCain.  I have disliked him (McCain) since he ran for the candidacy for President against Bush in 2000.  McCain said way to many lies about Bush. McCain and his campaign are still lieing thru their teeth about Obama and are getting caught at it.   Also in last 2 to 3 years, I have not been very happy with the current Bush administration and some of the policies recently approved, or our local GOP representatives, especially those that voted for the recent bailout. That bailout should never have been passed first or second time.  People need to learn to live in their means and not depend on government, us private citizens and the people we elect to represent us, to bail them out.  2.  McCain is too hot tempered.  I for one do not want a hot tempered person in the White House with his finger on the Nuclear button. 
3.  Do not forget, McCain was originally a Democrat who switched parties. McCain has flip flopped on more issues than Obama.  4.  McCain picked the wrong woman to be VP. I think a better VP for me to vote for his ticket would have been either Condeleeza Rice or Kay Bailey Hutchison. They have much more qualifacations, especially on foreign policy, than Palin has. 

Anyway to sum things up, we need to vote on current issues and potential future issues, not past old mute issues that have nothing to do with current campaign. Example, Obamas past acuaintances with Ayers and Rev. Wright.  In recent news interviews on TV, Obama has said he no longer has any contact with or will have Ayers or Rev Wright advising him and his campaign or in a future Obama White house if he becomes President.  Obama is distancing himself from these people.  I am voting on who can handle the issues better and make our country great again in world standing.  McCain is not the candidate to do this.  Yes, Obama, in my viewpoint is not the best candidate either, but he is the BETTER choice.  I am still leaning toward supporting Obama as President.   

The church wasn’t anti-white. WHITE PEOPLE ATTEND THE CHURCH! How dare you throw immature names at the white people attend that church simply because they were a minority. THAT is true racism. Does that mean the handful of black people attending my church do it out of guilt?! No.

This election is not about race. It’s not about what church someone attends. It’s about policy. It’s about who is going to help build our country back up from the 8 years of Bush damage. If you disagree with Obama’s policies, fine. But, don’t be one of those ignorant jerks that have nothing better to do than throw mud.
