You should approach this situation with a clear mind. It's possible that this person is just socially uneasy. Maybe he doesn't know how to talk to people normally, and perhaps he's just looking for a friend. Then again, boys will be boys. You should keep in mind that this could be some game to lure you. The ultimate answer to this is simply be comfortable. If you're willing then try to befriend this guy, but if he makes you uneasy then you need to take care of yourself first. Just try to keep an open heart, and if you turn him down do it in a manner that wont completely crush his spirits.

I agree with the first replier. Also consider how he interacts with other people. If he doesn't interact with others maybe it is because he has a hard time making friends. And because you have been nice to him he'll want to become your friend more and more. Maybe he is a lonely person and your ability to be a friend in the classroom is important to him. Whatever you do, don't be rude to him. Be careful what you do/say because you don't want to cross the line of being a bully!

He's probably forcing himself on you because he wants you to notice him, and he wants to get to know you. If there's nothing else obviously wrong with him then you should talk to him and get to know him. Find out if he's actually creepy or just bad at making friends. And find out too what his turn-offs are, so if you need an escape plan you can use that against him. "Know thy enemy" as they say...

But you might also find that you like him once you get to know him. Guys are idiots around girls they like, so maybe that's the only reason he's acting creepy.
