Mat Workout DVD Review
Day 5-7 With the previous day’s visual incentive I’m goin’ for it. In fact, I’m going to put on a tank and shorts. Okay, maybe not the shorts. Find the sweats.
I get through both legs standing today. I get through the first arms with only a couple of rests. I do most of the arms with the weights. I do the ribs (to the extent I can follow it but they are getting to be easier to follow somehow). I do most of the abs lying down. Still haven’t done the lying down legs.
My thought at this point is this should be marketed as:

Truly. My back no longer aches. I feel youthful. I feel that I’m keeping every joint and range of motion alive and viable. I have great energy. My arms in 7 days look more, well, youthful. They look firmer without being man pipes. The arm skin is coming around as though it’s reborn. It’s actually like I erased 15 years off them. My legs have a ways to go, HOWEVER, they are 40% improved after a week. The shape is good. The butt is lifting. The knees can be seen. The abs are 50% flatter. The obliques are still soft. Maybe I should crank on those rib cage things more or do the lying down leg routine.
Wow. This is amazing stuff. It seems incredulous but it’s happening. Maybe I can start wearing fitted stuff again instead of loose tops.
BTW, I find the clip of Tracy and Gwyneth on Oprah.com and while it takes two days to load (what’s up with that Oprah webmaster?), you can see them working out in…the plywood room!
I watch it and think well Gwyneth is just skinny. But Tracy did say she was trying to make everything tiny. But maybe Gwyneth has always been like that. However I did read somewhere that she wanted to lose that 20 lbs of post-second-baby weight. And she’s in her 30’s. (Every decade it gets harder).
Then I go back on Oraph’s site and see Gwyneth standing in a cooking segment standing there in her black linen vest top and you tell me if she doesn’t look stunning?!!! Her arms have that thing I’m telling you about. They look fit and youthful. Not just youthful from being firm, also youthful from having youthful skin. And do you see how her face radiates? Like a pregnant woman but she’s not preggers. I’m working harder than ever now.
Day 8 I have not missed a workout day. That is unusual given my past track record. I sort of like Tracy. She’s soft but authoritative. Quietly hip. I thought “yeah right you developed a new technique” but GIRL YOU DID!
